Steve Pribyl spent some time learning to make reeds for a set of pipes made by Tim Britton and more recently for a set of pipes made by Koehler and Quinn. Prior to assembling this site, there would often be a search for various reference books and web pages for suggestion on how to address different reed issues. The suggestions are consolidated here into a list for the benefit of budding reed makers (the author included) everywhere. Steve gained valuable knowledge from personal contact with Tim Britton, Benedict Koehler, Michael O'Donovan, and others.
